Any idea whether I'll get better prices for upgrades by going via a dealer (eg. Mobileshop and the like) or direct to the network? I'm on OVP Virgin on Orange (actually 2x OVP Virgins), their online shop says I have a £0.00 upgrade fee, and handset prices range from free to

My daughter has moved to America and took her UK Samsung V200 phone. When she got to the States the phone needed to be unblocked for use in America which it was. She is now back home for a few days and finds that the phone is now blocked

I would like to unlock a Nokia1100 which is presently locked to the Orange network (I want to use it on O2). It seems that you can either pay a small fee or get unlock codes for free from web sites. I don't understand why (but that is not so important).

I had my Orange 750i replaced by Carphonewarehouse. The replaced phone came back with Quickshare logo (below the 0 key). I understand this is "unlocked" phone as I have tried O2 sim in it. I have lost all Orange based themes, wallpapers etc.

I've got an orange SPV M2000. When I'm at home, I receive/send emails via a wifi connection to NTL, so I have the smtp connection to smtp.ntlworld.com. However, when I'm out and about, I have to change the smtp setting to smtp.orange.net, which is OK, but very hassly and time ...
