I am abroad for a few months and as it's been nigh on impossible to get
my Orange p910i phone unlocked for a local sim here as anyone only does
nokias and I cant get access to a PC where I can use a cable in a net
cafe, I have a orange bill of nearly £300 which will come out the

Ive tried a dipole on satellite coax but the downlead loss is too great,

Alternative to O2 Online.01 Nov 2005 11:25 GMT8
My year contract is up in about a month with O2 Online.
Currently I get 500 free text which of course does include MMS messages
(take about 4 SMS credit off ((I think)) ) plus I get 'x' amount of free
minutes and 'x' of data transfer - GPRS.
No wonder I can't set email up!01 Nov 2005 11:24 GMT5
I've only just found out that email isn't supported by O2 on PAYG (pre pay).
Why on earth not?? Is that the same for all the networks does anyone know?
No wonder I couldn't set it up!
Strange texts last night. (o2 problem?)01 Nov 2005 11:10 GMT1
2 of my mates had text from me last night that I did not send them. Both

Motorola c975 - £29.99
Cheap data - what are my options?01 Nov 2005 08:41 GMT24
I'm currently on T-mobile with a 100mb tariff of around £15/month with
voice calls clocking in at 50ppm. Ideally, I'd like to ditch T Mob as
my voice call needs are making it more expensive than I 'd like.
Currently, I use around 25mb most months, occasionally close to 100mb.

Why do people like Unbranded phones and don't like Branded Phones?
Is there really any difference?
Query on GPRS Internet accessibility for J2ME java apps on UK Mobile  networks01 Nov 2005 04:05 GMT1
I'm interested in writing a Java app to run on a mobile phone to make
(non-HTTP) TCP/IP socket connections through to the Internet.
When GPRS and 3G first came out, there was lots of talk of service
providers creating Walled Gardens restricting access.
sim in a 3G handset?01 Nov 2005 01:41 GMT2
Advice please....
Orange have a few 3G PAYG phones which have just been reduced.
Will a standard sim card from a normal PAYG phone work in these?
I don't want the 3G features just the new handset.
