My sons Nokia 5100 now displays "Insert SIM card"- can't get it to

It claims you can duplicate up to 6 sim and put them onto 1 sim card.
Has anyone tried these and do they work?

A friends daughter is going on a 'gap year', (but probably for 6 months!) to

Is there a facility on 3's website to enter my PAC. I'd rather do it that
way as the language barrier with the Indian call centre might be a problem.
I have looked but can't see a way.

Is there any way of unlocking these without sending away - vodafone can do
it over the phone I think can anyone else - can I get it done free??

Where does it store saved text messages? I'd like to make a backup before
re-installing.

After I receive about 70 txts my Sony Ericsson w800 keeps saying "running at
95% full of texts, please delete some". Does anybody know why this is or how
to solve the problem. Seems very stupid considering the phone has 32Mb
onboard and 512Mb on the memory card, my old Nokia never ...
