SE K700i IR connection Jornada 720 & Psion 5 MX10 Dec 2005 18:06 GMT2
My 6 yr old Nokia 8210 connects without any problems with my Jornada
720 and Psion 5 MX for dial up and sending faxes.
My K700i does not
I really wanted to use the IR connection to hopefully use my GPRS

I will be requiring local sim cards in all three of the countries above.

I'm porting into Tesco Mobile on Monday, but I can't find any details on
the tariff page on their site about charges to non-geo (0845/0870)
numbers. I have absolutely no intention of calling any (I hate the things)

OK, the setup: new W800i on Vodafone, connected to a WinXP laptop via
the supplied USB cable.
All software installed as per CD, updated to latest versions as per web
site. (Don't update the firmware on the phone itself though.)

I have an Orange K750i and believe that Orange have adapted the K750i
firmware to include there own functionality. Can I upgrade the firmware to
the latest version or will it cause problems with the currently installed
Orange firmware?

I have recently lost the rear battery cover to the NEC 411i phone, and
am try to locate somewhere that will sell me one. I have tried NEC who
