Smartphone that works08 Dec 2005 22:06 GMT18
I've had a whole bunch of Orange C500's over the last year and they
are incredibly unreliable (turning themselves off, failing to answer
calls; locking up; etc).
I'm currently trying the Orange M5000 - but that is even worse.

I have a Nokia 6230i.  When I try to make a note of an entry in the

the process again.  How can I make the light stay on longer so that I
can write the details down?

Stripping down a T610 housing08 Dec 2005 15:13 GMT3
I shall soon be replacing the housing on a very tatty looking T610. Does
anyone know of a website that assists in stripping down mobile phones, and
particularly for the T610 is possible.  Thanks very much indeed.
Low-power GSM modem08 Dec 2005 11:23 GMT1
Just trying to update myself on available standalone GSM modems with a
serial port (ie not ones that plug directly into a laptop but ones
that are freestanding and can connect to any suitable RS232 serial
device - though USB might also be of interest if available.)
Pay as you go Japan08 Dec 2005 11:20 GMT5
Hi all, I've noticed that I can buy a payg phone here (England) for as
little as 20 quid, that seems like fantastic value. My question is how
cheaply can I buy a payg phone in Japan, I go there every year but I've
always assumed it would be too expensive to justify (to my wife) ...
