| Why will they only sell me 2 phones | 05 Dec 2005 12:44 GMT | 39 |
I went into a Woolworths store the other day to buy some pay-as-you-go mobile phones as Christmas pressies but was told I was only allowed to buy two phones per visit to the store. That seems a bit odd as surely they're in business to sell the things.

| O2 Ireland SIM in a phone locked to O2 UK... | 03 Dec 2005 22:16 GMT | 2 |
If I have a phone that's locked to the O2 network here in the UK, rather than pay the usual higher rate for roaming charges, can't I just stick a SIM from O2's network in Ireland in the phone and enjoy the Irish domestic call rates, or is the phone likely to have issues with this ...

| Virgin GPRS charges | 03 Dec 2005 20:24 GMT | 19 |
Just a word of warning to anyone using Virgin for GPRS. The Virgin charge is £5.12 per MB which, as far as I can tell, is more expensive than any other UK operator. I was just charged about £34 for 7MB! I'm sure that Virgin used to charge 0.3 p a KB but I can't find any current
