Why will they only sell me 2 phones05 Dec 2005 12:44 GMT39
I went into a Woolworths store the other day to buy some pay-as-you-go
mobile phones as Christmas pressies but was told I was only allowed to
buy two phones per visit to the store.  That seems a bit odd as surely
they're in business to sell the things.

I've just bought a Virgin SIM just for the number to port over, put a fiver

SIM to be registered for any particular length of time before they'll give
me the PAC code?
Delivery  Reports hidden on Nokia 3120?04 Dec 2005 22:12 GMT5
Is there any way to restore the 'delivery report' item in the menu on
my Nokia 3120?
I know it must be something to do with my SIM card (which is a very
old Orange JT type) because when I put a more modern Orange SIM card

Vodafone/Sagem VS304 Dec 2005 21:49 GMT2
I'm told by my wife that we need to buy her mother (76yrs) a new
mobile for Xmas.
The NK402 she currently has is a little heavy for her and the display
is quite small.
Nokia 6680 colours04 Dec 2005 21:47 GMT5
Hi, I am not able to change the colours within themes on my Nokia 6680.
I've followed the instructions exactly and even returned the handset
as thought may be faulty, but the new one is exactly the same.  Has
anyone had the same problem?

O2 POP3 Email Settings On SonyEricsson W800i03 Dec 2005 22:47 GMT1
I have just got a new SonyEricsson W800i and have imputed the email settings
for POP3 that were on my old V3 but when I try to send or receive emails it
just says "Finding Server" and basically does nothing else.
Has anyone else managed to get the phone to work ok with POP3?
Treo 650 - Is a free unlock available?03 Dec 2005 22:29 GMT1
Spent the last half hour or so Googling with no joy.
There is free unlocking software available for the Treo 600 but  I've found
absolutely nothing for the 650.
Assuming there isn't a free unlock - has anyone used the unlocking services
O2 Ireland SIM in a phone locked to O2 UK...03 Dec 2005 22:16 GMT2
If I have a phone that's locked to the O2 network here in the UK, rather
than pay the usual higher rate for roaming charges, can't I just stick a SIM
from O2's network in Ireland in the phone and enjoy the Irish domestic call
rates, or is the phone likely to have issues with this ...
Virgin GPRS charges03 Dec 2005 20:24 GMT19
Just a word of warning to anyone using Virgin for GPRS. The Virgin charge is
£5.12 per MB which, as far as I can tell, is more expensive than any other
UK operator. I was just charged about £34 for 7MB!
I'm sure that Virgin used to charge 0.3 p a KB but I can't find any current

Does the Sony Ericsson K750i have anything the W800i doesn't?
Or is the W800i essentially a K750i plus a bit more?
Thanks,
SB
