Opera Mini and o2 PAYG31 Jan 2006 22:29 GMT4
My searches so far suggest that the Opera Mini browser needs my Motorola V550 to have an "Internet
Profile" instead of a "Wap Profile" but that I can't have one on o2 PAYG.
Is this correct?
It's complicated by the fact that I don't know what an internet profile is or how it differs ...

O2 Welcome Browse and Download query31 Jan 2006 17:29 GMT1
I've signed up for an 18 month O2 online 200 contract which gives me 400
mins voice, 150 texts and 1MB of GPRS.
However, I appear to have also got a 'Welcome Browse and Download' package,
which seems to include 5MB of data...
What records do networks keep on texts?31 Jan 2006 16:58 GMT14
A friend of mine has been accused of sending text messages from his
Virgin PAYG phone that he didn't send.
It's bad enough for the Police to be involved and it would be helpful
to know if the network keep details of the texts.
K750i / Vodafone31 Jan 2006 14:26 GMT6
I've got a Sony Ericsson K750i, and the joystick's acting up. The phones an
insurance replacement for my old K750i, which I lost. This one, and the old
one, both had the joysticks die very quickly, and now the camera shutter
button's packing up on this phone.
So what does the Nokia 9500 do better than the 9300i?31 Jan 2006 13:57 GMT2
Just seen an ad for the 9300i (that's 9300 with WiFi) and had a couple
of thoughts:
a) man I wish that had been out when I bought my Treo last year. Having
WiFi in something I could actually fit in a pocket would be cool.

what phone support what BT services.

Nokia 6230i Mp3 through car kit?31 Jan 2006 11:28 GMT5
I have just replaced my 6310i with a 6230i.  I have a Cark 91 car kit
and I'm now using an adapter that fits in the cradle allowing me to
connect the 6230i to the existing car kit.
It works fine for charging and calls but I was hoping I could play Mp3

N70 and delays30 Jan 2006 20:33 GMT3
I've got an N70 on Orange, has anyone else noticed delays when selecting
menu items, E.g. 4-5 second delay when pressing the left menu button? Orange
say that while many people have complained, it's considered normal and not a
fault, and they are waiting for Nokia to fix it (odd ...

them but anyway...
Having just topped up with £10 in the first I received 3 text messages - the
e-mail photos from Samsung D50030 Jan 2006 15:15 GMT3
Guys 'n' Gals,
My daughter has a D500 (on a Vodafone contract) and I asked her to
e-mail me a couple of photos she'd taken with the phone on her camera. I
told her to just enter the e-mail address in place of the mobile number.
