Hi, I have just unlocked a Motorola SLVR and put my Orange sim in it.
It has loads of Vodafone sh.t on it, plus pressing down the number 1
doesn't ring the answerphone and although I can receive text messages,
I can't send them.

What happens to an old phone once I have got a new phone with a new
network and had the number ported into the new phone and sim card?
Does the old one still continue to function on the old network? Or
would that sim become invalid now the number has been ported? Or would

I understand o2 are the only network that will allow you to opt-out of
these scams.
