Porting to 3 - two numbers?20 Feb 2006 08:55 GMT9
I've seen several references on modile retailers websites that porting to 3
will leave you with two numbers. Your ported number for voice calls and the
3 temporary number for video calls.
Is this true? What is the point in porting you number to 3 three if you have
Orange PAYG 2G vs 3G19 Feb 2006 22:42 GMT2
Been playing around with my ex-Three Nokia 7600 tonight, using an Orange
2G PAYG SIM.
When doing a network search, I only get listings for 2G coverage -
although I think I'm in an Orange 3G area.

Since taking out my Orange contract about six months ago I have moved
and my new address has no Orange coverage.  If they cannot supply me
with service is this grounds to cancel the contract and move my number
over to a supplier who can supply me with service?

o2 3g and cpw19 Feb 2006 14:44 GMT11
Last year I was sold a contract on o2 by CPW. This was for a 6680 on o2 400.
At the time I was assured I could make video calls (use 3g services) on this
tarrif and phone.
It has now become clear that CPW do not provide 3g access on o2's network.
