Back when orange offered decent additional services and good customer services I went for OVP packages. However, now you can wait for 20 or 30 mins sometimes for customer services, and then get someone who does not have a clue after wasting

Can someone tell me what the three squares mean that are between the signal meter and battery status indicators?, and how do I remove it? (k700). Theres no mention of what it means in the manual and its been there ever since I have had the phone.

Is it possible to find this with an active SIM installed? I know there is a series of joystick moves to do this, but it doesn't appear to work with a SIM installed. I know there is a simple cure to this (remove the sim), but just wondered if there is a quicker way to check it with ...

I've seen loooads of phones on One Stop Phone Shop where you get 12 months free on a 12 months contract. Erm... am I missing something? Are they just gambling on people not sending in their vouchers in time?

I've never been interested in cashback deals as they look too confusing and high risk. But, apparently I've entered a cashback deal without realising it. I signed up for The Link w800i on O2 with 9 months half price line rental.

Its (obviously) sill contracted to T Mobile here - but wanting to use it with a 0044 or local sim while away. Also I saw someone saying virgin data was a fiver a meg while outside the UK - are virgin sims OK in the vario?
