| This could be useful - Vodafone | 29 Mar 2006 20:47 GMT | 7 |
On Saturday I arranged to port my number from Orange to Vodafone, but the port day was given as April 3rd, when I am off to belgium. Salesman advised me to call on the morning and try to get it done early. Phone arrived today, so I rang the number given, to be told it can't be

| explain 02 3g network vs 3 | 29 Mar 2006 14:47 GMT | 10 |
OK, I am a bit confused. Yesterday I was in the O2 shop and I saw a Samsung Z510 which is a 3G phone. Checking on the O2 site I can get this for 19.99 plus 19 per month on O2 50. I thought that there is somehow a separate 3G network but in conversation

I'm sure we've all had stupid business experiences with O2. I'm interested in getting a 3G phone, mainly for data. In fact my usage of voice is so low that last year when my contract ended I tried to go onto PAYG with my existing O2 account. O2 customer services persauded me to ...

| Skipping answer machine msgs | 28 Mar 2006 23:41 GMT | 4 |

I notice that Virgin PAYG sims are around £5 including a £5 call credit - if I buy one and port my existing 3 number to the new sim - how quickly will Virgin give me a PAC code to port back to 3 ? Will I have to top up the Virgin SIM over and above the £5 call allowance provided ...
