On Saturday I arranged to port my number from Orange to Vodafone, but
the port day was given as April 3rd, when I am off to belgium. Salesman
advised me to call on the morning and try to get it done early.
Phone arrived today, so I rang the number given, to be told it can't be

explain 02 3g network vs 329 Mar 2006 14:47 GMT10
OK, I am a bit confused.
Yesterday I was in the O2 shop and I saw a Samsung Z510 which is a 3G phone.
Checking on the O2 site I can get this for 19.99 plus 19 per month on O2 50.
I thought that there is somehow a separate 3G network but in conversation

I've been developing WML pages for almost a year now and recently I

02 loses my business29 Mar 2006 00:44 GMT1
I'm sure we've all had stupid business experiences with O2.
I'm interested in getting a 3G phone, mainly for data. In fact my usage of
voice is so low that last year when my contract ended I tried to go onto
PAYG with my existing O2 account. O2 customer services persauded me to ...

Skipping answer machine msgs28 Mar 2006 23:41 GMT4
O2 and Orange have the brilliant idea of allowing a caller to press #
during the answer machine msg to go straight to the beep so you can record
a msg. But Virgin, T-Mobile and Vodafone AFAIK don't allow you to do this
and instead ask you for a PIN number. Why can't they all follow ...

will Virgin give me a PAC code to port back to 3 ? Will I have to top up
the Virgin SIM over and above the £5 call allowance provided ...
