PAC Codes13 Apr 2006 11:20 GMT4
Are PAC codes tied to the contract owners name?
I bought my wife a phone under my name a few years ago and as such the
contract is in my name. She now wants to move from Orange to T-Mobile and is
wondering if she'll be able to take her number from a contract in my name to

I have tried evry way to get the K750i to transfer files using bluetooth,

Purchase advice: N70 or 6280 or other?13 Apr 2006 00:31 GMT5
I currently have a Sony Ericsson w800i, which I was unimpressed with
when I got it, only because as a walkman phone; it is far too quiet ..
plus I'm on my third charger as they are really poor quality. Apart
from that the general phone was good, decent camera, removable storage
Orange SMTP server13 Apr 2006 00:27 GMT17
I've been using smtp.orange.net successfully for outgoing mail for a couple
of years now.  It's really handy since you can send mail from any email
client attached anywhere to the internet.  Obviously you need to
authenticate to the server with the credentials set up for the ...
Treo 600 on Orange12 Apr 2006 22:48 GMT8
My Treo 600 is nearing the end of its serviceable life and am looking
to upgrade. All the London-based Orange shops I have tried don't have
the Treo 650 in stock and some are claiming not to have been able to
get hold of them for months. Are Orange ditching the Treo line?
Tesco Extra Tariff12 Apr 2006 20:49 GMT14
The Tesco Extra tariff seems unbeatable to me so why don't I see any
comments on it in here?
Spend £15 a month (£13.50 after discount if you set up an automatic
monthly payment) and that buys you 150 minutes cross network. Use all of

Is there a good place to buy one?

K750i Disappointng Battery Life12 Apr 2006 00:23 GMT6
I've just upgraded (downgraded) to a K750i and fnd that the bettery life is
well down on my old (5 years old) Nokia phone.  Is this a common problem
these days?  The blurb that promoted it gave it  hundreds of hours f battery
life.  I hardly use this and it needs charging every day ...

bought a SE K750i on an O2 contract from Phones 4 U.
The handset failed after just over a month.
We were told that there was a free replacement only for the first month.
After that, the phone had to go for repair, but that should only take a

Selling a mobile on eBay11 Apr 2006 17:46 GMT19
I'm considering selling my Nokia 7600 on eBay (ex contract, current locked
to 3), but I notice that on eBay some phones went for 'silly money' (£200+)
with the buyer having, guess what, zero feedback. Quite a lot of the winning
bids on items at 'sensible prices' were from buyers ...
