Unsolicited MMS from Vodafone Live18 May 2006 14:27 GMT6
I am on contract with Vodafone, and regularly get unsolicited MMS messaged
claiming to be from Vodafone Live on 9774.  I never open them just in case.
How can I stop these coming in?  And are they genuine?
Reestit Mutton - new features18 May 2006 14:22 GMT4
As you all know, I'm always trying to think of ways to improve the
Reestit Mutton site and extend the functionality wherever possible (and
feasible given the limited time resources available) so this is just a
quick heads up on some additional functionality that I've recently ...

O2 says certain handsets will not work after June 30th18 May 2006 10:35 GMT2
Messrs O2 have a quarter-page advert in today's Daily Telegraph saying
that after June 30th some of their old handsets will not work: Philips
C12, C13, Diga, and Motorola M3588.  There is no explanation.
I still have a Philips Diga in working order (I think) with maybe a

Can Virgin text airtime balance after calls?17 May 2006 22:39 GMT2
I used to be on O2 and after making a call a note of the remaining
balance would show on the mobile, which I found really useful.
Having moved to Virgin, the balance remains a mystery unless you dial
789.  Is there any way to receive the balance automatically after a
Vodaphone threatening to remove Pay As You Go mobile17 May 2006 21:54 GMT3
My elderly mother has a Pay As You Go phone with Vodaphone as her Network
She rarely uses her phone for outgoing calls, it's for emergencies or if we
want to contact her when she is travelling, so any money she spends on it
lasts a long time. A recent holiday abroad meant that she ...
Any chance of retrieving text messages?17 May 2006 21:25 GMT1
I was on a Three contract and ported my number out to Virgin.  Is there
now any chance of retrieving a text message sent to me when I was 'live'
on Three?   I've still got the handset and 'number less' sim card.

Adaptor in Sony Ericsson W800i to allow use of 3.5mm headphone plug17 May 2006 18:25 GMT11
I've just bought a Sony Ericsson K750i and I understand that the W800i
comes with an adaptor to allow use of a normal pair of headphones with
a 3.5mm plug rather than the supplied headphones with their fancy
connector.
