Battery issues16 May 2006 13:30 GMT6
My Nokia 3230 is just over a year old now (1 year and 2 days to be exact).
I'm starting to have problems with it retaining charge. The battery was
completely flat on Saturday so I put it on charge for about 5 hours, and
overnight on Sunday the battery was flat again.
"Prefix * for 0800"16 May 2006 12:54 GMT6
I've just noticed the RAC sticker in my (rather old) car.  It says the phone
number for the RAC is 0800 82 82 82 and in small print underneath "Prefix
with * when calling from mobile phones".  Why would anyone need to prefix a
number like this?

AT commands for 'locked' status?16 May 2006 06:46 GMT4
Using a K300i on Voda CSD for internet access while BT sort out the
area network.  Very slow, as you can imagine.  Been impressed by
people's experience of the Orange £1 all day service.  Although I'm on
a Voda contract, the K300i (which has GPRS) is PAYG - it was the only
Calls not getting through15 May 2006 22:14 GMT3
My family has a number of contract mobiles, mostly with Three, but my wife
is having problems with calls not getting through but going immediately to

intermittent. She has called Three five times but each time ...
samsung sgh-z14015 May 2006 21:52 GMT2
I recently had my samsung phone unlocked.  Ever since then, the battery life
has been shortened considerably.  It used to last for whole week but now I
have to charge it roughly every three days.
Can anyone point me in the right direction please?  Are there any codes
Can any Nokia Service Centre Unbrand my 6680??15 May 2006 21:12 GMT2
Can I take my Vodafone Nokia 6680 to any Nokia Service Centre, and have it
reflashed with the original Nokia software?
I want to get the firmware updated anyway, because I have a couple of little
bugs, and the new firmware version should address this problem.
motorola v3i sync with outlook via phone tools15 May 2006 20:43 GMT2
Is it me or does this not only suck but actually lead to incorrect mapping
and even loss of data between Outlook and the phone?
I've now reverted to transferring new numbers via the phonebook one by one
rather than using the sync function in phone tools because things keep going
O2 Off Peak times15 May 2006 20:30 GMT3
Hi, can anyone confirm what the O2 off peak times are for pay as you go?
I wasn't sure if they started at 19:00 or 19:30 on weekdays.
Thanks
Texts not getting through15 May 2006 19:06 GMT1
Similar to my other post all of us on Three have problems with texts not
being received. Some time ago a text was an instant way of communicating
whereas now they can bottle up and come through in one rush. I had four sent

remove vodafone live!15 May 2006 16:28 GMT2
This is probably a really trivial question, but here goes:
I recently bought a 2nd hand unlocked Sony Ericsson W800i.  I've used my
Vodafone SIM card until today, when I changed to T-Mobile.  My problem is,
how do I change the Vodafone Live! menu option to T-Mobile?

as detailed here:
