MSN Hotmail - always temporarily unavailable nowadays!11 May 2006 23:00 GMT1
Every time I've accessed Hotmail via my (Orange) mobile in the last few days
the connection has been slow setting up and when I've finally got to the
page which lists recent emails clicking on one of them in order to read it
invariably results in a message saying that the service ...

There are plenty around which don't come with chargers (and yes I know
plenty with, as well); and given that I already have a spare Nokia 3410

These awful headphones (or are they called earphones?) that came with my

Best cheap PAYG11 May 2006 16:08 GMT5
My girlfriend lost her PAYG mobile so I'm gonna get her a new one. I'll
probably just get her a cheap mobile to last her until I can get an upgrade
on my contract - and give her my current phone when I upgrade.
So what's the best *cheap* PAYG mobile around nowadays? I'm talking ...

I have recently bought two mobiles on contract, one from O2 and one from

totaling £0 per one year line rental, and the other one £45. Everything
seems fine, I will send the 4th invoice for cashback in a month ...
hash codes11 May 2006 10:07 GMT5
I know that hash codes (using the * and # keys) can be used on GSM phones to
set up and access various services. For example *#06# will usually find the
phones IMEI number.
Are these standard across all network operators, at least in the UK?
Cheapest way to get GPS?11 May 2006 07:43 GMT5
I am totally naive about GPS, but I could definitely use it. What is
the cheapest way to get GPS via a mobile phone? (I.e., the cost of the
actual phone, and the cost of the service)
Thank you for any recommendations.
