Hello all, new to this so I hope I'm in the right group. Just an
annoying problem that I'm trying to find an answer to. I'm on an Orange
pay as you go, and a friend of mine is on an O2 pay as you go. We text
regularly, but recently I have stopped receiving her texts. They appear

just a quick question, if you have you mobile stolen or loose it whilst
abroad will an imei block work if it is used wirh a different sim from an
overseas network ?

I have an old Orange mobile which has international roaming switched
on. Recently I bought a an new, unlocked  phone and transfered the old
SIM card to the new phone.

My wife just received her latest OVP Virgin itemised bill today. It
was dated 1st July and there was no itemised billing charge on it.

Just ported over to Orange from o2.
Downloaded MMS and GPRS Internet settings.(Nokia 6230)
Couldn't send or receive MMS. GPRS connected, but the little icon (paperclip
and envelope) just spun their little hearts out before proclaiming 'failed'.

took ages but has fixed the phonebook bug that kept asking for unlock
code whenever you used it.
Trouble is only 1 phonebbok entry has been restored - the rest aren't

Having had this phone for just over a year now, I am a little more than
annoyed with it.
The batteries went kaput some 6 months or so ago. I sent the phone to
the service centre (Intec, who have been very good in the past) and as

I want to toake the caravan to NEw England Bay, near pPort Logan, but
its essential we have  mobile coverage. We can use any network but it
must be reliable. Vodaphone looks fine on th eonline map but I know
from experience these can be optimistic. ANyone got any on the gorund

I'm not sure I trust the claim by Vodafone's call centre today that
GPRS isn't available with a Vodafone PAYG SIM, so can anyone confirm
or not that this can be made to work?
