I have long been happy with Nokia phones although some of the newer Motorolas are a bit smaller which is very attractive. Is there anything I should know about before switching? How does the ease of use and reliability compare?

I need a mobile handset for one of my users who is partially sighted. Making voice calls is not a problem, but we need a fairly large screen and the ability to read/write SMS messages using a large font size. Any suggestions?
