Orange and receipts16 Aug 2006 23:42 GMT5
Have Orange stopped sending a delivery receipt when you request one by
inserting RCT  at the beginning of your text message? Two payg phones
here and neither now does it.
No incoming calls with T-mobile Sim in Nokia 6230 (unlocked from orange)16 Aug 2006 22:22 GMT1
I unlocked my old Nokia 6230 which was on orange, and ported my number
to T-Mobile (bad move I know!!)
Now if I stick a Voda or Orange chip in the the 6230 behaves as
expected. (not tried an O2)
Three's MSN Messenger on other networks?16 Aug 2006 22:12 GMT5
I see that Three appears to be offering MSN Messenger on a number of
their phones - is there anywhere this can be downloaded to put onto
phones for use on other networks?
Anybody got it and know how it works - is it just a downloaded client
t-mobile payg web n walk16 Aug 2006 21:26 GMT2
Used my payg t-mobile sim today for web n walk and it seems that as
soon as I got to the £1 limit that it wouldn't connect any more to the
web.
Is this a coincidence or am I missing something on my settings?
Call Barring and network recommendation16 Aug 2006 17:53 GMT1
I currently have a Nokia 6020 mobile phone on Vodafone PAYG.  It would
appear that Vodafone's PAYG doesn't offer a call barring option,
although maybe call barring is something that is a function on your
phone?  I'd also like to not have to pay extra for the call barring -
Orange free broadband and cash back deals16 Aug 2006 17:30 GMT5
If I sign-up to an 18-month Orange contract (£30 pm) with a retailer
(e.g. CPW) that offers cash back, can I still get the free broadband?.
With the cash back, the effective monthly rental will be lot less than
£30.
porting...16 Aug 2006 13:07 GMT2
Got my PAC coming from orange because upgrades were being obstinate over
getting a decent upgrade phone.
Anyway - should I port it out and back again - how quickly can this be done
and what's the best network to bounce this around with? Or should I leave it
illegal phone calls16 Aug 2006 11:20 GMT6
My telephone number has been on TPS for some years, and the registration
is still current. I also have a contract that is not eligible for
upgrade. Therefore I know when I get those annoying calls offering me an
upgrade it's random dialling. Since I'm on the TPS, this is an ...

O2 PayGo (Old Sims)16 Aug 2006 08:38 GMT7
I'm looking for some older o2online paygo sims with the talker option that
offers 2ppm weekend calls. The new online sims now charge 3ppm all time.
If anyone has any, let me know how much you want for them?

Got stuffed by mobileshop as I moved house and my Orange bill did not
arrive, which is no excuse for not sending it to them it seems!
Who else has been lucky with a cashback or unlucky?
Unlock Nokia 1101?15 Aug 2006 18:55 GMT2
Hmmmm..  is this a key press unlock or do I need a cable? I tried a google
and was flooded by sites offering to unlock it for a fee. (Two Nokia 1101's
on the way via Easymobile's £20 airtime and free 'phone offer

Orange upgrade madness15 Aug 2006 13:16 GMT16
My 12 month contract with Orange is soon up. I received a call from them
today offering me a 10% discount to renew my contract together with a free
mobile phone.
I said I was happy with the handset I had and therefore didn't need a new
