Is anyone else having trouble with Orange in Edinburgh? I've tried phoning three different people this evening and can't get through to any of them - either get a 'connection error' or just some beeping. No ringing, no engaged tone, no answerphone message.

Where can I get a SOCKET for the 2.5mm jack plug used on the Nokia HDC-5 personal handsfree kit? This PHF worked on old Nokia 3XXX and 8XXX phones. You can see the plug in the following picture. It's a 4-way plug.

You know sometimes you just don't want to be contactable, but folks know you do have a mobile. What are some solutions to not being bloody contactable all the time. Obviously switch it off, but does anyone have any more subtle approaches/solutions !!

time again for me to upgrade my phone. I'm currently on the o2 online £18 a month offer and have the o2 XDA2s I'm quite happy with the phone but have been looking at my options for upgrading the contract and getting a new handset. Now my two options, as I see them are this.

I phoned O2 yesterday afternoon for an upgrade and their 'system' was down and the guy said call back in about an hours time. Bad advice I thought as it was 5:30 and the upgrade dept supposedly closes at 6:00 I phoned again this afternoon, and was told that the 'system' is down

I am looking at getting a Nokia 6233 on orange, and have a few questions as it is a 3G phone. Do the data tarrifs work the same as GPRS, in that I would be able to access the full net, rather than be in a walled garden?
