Technical question about DTMF on GSM03 Aug 2006 22:02 GMT1
A question for the techies:
When you press the DTMF keys during a call on a GSM mobile, do the

compressed codecs), or are they sent as event packets in a simlar

I've finally decided that's it's time to upgrade my 6310i. I'd like

Smart"-ish" phone with "Today" screen03 Aug 2006 18:13 GMT10
I'm sick of smartphones.  I've had quite a few HTC devices and they
work so badly as phones.  I've been using a Nokia 6230i and the only
thing I miss is the Windows Mobile "Today" screen that shows your next
calendar appointment on the standby screen.  Without this I tend to

I have a set of Ericsson T68 mobile phones with
special modules that clip on the bottom which
allow you to communicate with each other in total privacy.

Reliable Nokia 6021?03 Aug 2006 11:55 GMT1
Has anyone here got a Nokia 6021? Mine is barely two months old and the
* key is behaving a little dodgy - it needs to be pressed rather hard
in order to respond. My software version is 3.83 and I have a feeling
that is not the latest.

Nokia N93: First impressions03 Aug 2006 11:23 GMT5
After some f.ck-uppery by Expansys, I received my N93 this morning.

I've only been fiddling with it for half a day, but my first
impressions are:

Fecked off with Orange02 Aug 2006 23:03 GMT3
I've moved from o2 PAYT to Orange PAYT, because I was under the impression
from previous experience that it was a better network here in Dorset.
What I've actually found is that I'm worse off. I don't get the same rewards
as I did with O2, plus I've noticed that if I'm 1/4 bar in ...

Hello! this is my first day with O2. The new phone I have - I put the

ported to my new phone. Should I have put my old sim card in the new
phone (I did try this but the same message came up)??? My old phone
