I am experiencing problems with O2 and GPRS connection using my XDAIIs.
Although it is unlocked I am trying to set up the PDA to use with a pay
and go SIM.
I have gone through the procedure of Start, Settings, New Connection

I am just about to reach the end of my contract with Orange UK and I
spend a lot per month (on a £45 750 mins 120 txts contract but often
the bill is £250 due to international work calls).
