Had a call today from a bloke with a Scottish accent who claimed his name was Mark. He seemed very concerned that I might not be aware that Orange are changing their contracts soon (are they?) and that he would like to save me 'a wee bit of money'. He claimed to be from NER, and

| THREE - next day delivery | 25 Aug 2006 23:01 GMT | 1 |
I tried to order something from three and it stated NEXT DAY DELIVERY if the order is before 1pm. I know ISPs use a different dictionary for meanings of common words like "unlimited", but didn't realise THREE did the same. Next day delivery on an item ordered before 1pm this ...

I`m looking to buy 2 x £10 O2 top up vouchers. i`d much prefer these as it`s a gift for someone, and i`d rather have something physical to give them, rather than a receipt with a number printed on. Anyone know if they are available anywhere online - had a quick look with no

| How long is a PAC code valid for ? | 25 Aug 2006 20:43 GMT | 2 |
I am out of contract with O2. A couple of months ago I asked for my PAC code. I may actually get another O2 contract and port the number to that but I believe I have to go through a PAYG transfer hop 1st - but that's another story.

Some time ago I posted here about how to get my WinXP home laptop to access the internet via Infra-red to my Nokia 8310 phone on the Orange PAYG network. Not having used it for some time, I recently tried it and it seems to have stopped working.

| Nokia N80 not learning new words | 25 Aug 2006 13:47 GMT | 8 |
My Nokia N80 doesn't seem to be adding new words to its dictionary. I've only had it 6 weeks so it can't have got full. In fact AFAICR I've only added one word to it - "teh". So it must have worked once. So for example, if I try and type "lemur" it insists on spelling it "kents".

| Orange animal tarriffs | 25 Aug 2006 10:41 GMT | 5 |
I'm sure these used to be very bad value -- have they made them better recently? I'm currently considering an upgrade from my K750i (in month 10 of my contract, currently with Orange on Select 500 [the three tarriff -- 25UKP, 500 anytime minutes per month]) and initially
