Basic question about handset names14 Sep 2006 21:57 GMT14
Is the Orange M3100 the same as the T-Mobile Vario II? The O2 XDA Mini
S is the previous version, though, right (equivalent to the Orange
M3000 which wasn't released in the UK)?

Nokia E70 software update now out14 Sep 2006 19:42 GMT7
See http://www.nokia.co.uk/softwareupdate for more info.
However, I've just tried to update my E70 and the computer lost
connection with the phone near the end of the update, at which point the
screen had 'test' and other such words in different sizes of writing.

Why most telecommunication equipment use -48V supply voltage14 Sep 2006 16:40 GMT2
This question was asked while I attending an interview for a job of
telecommunication technician.
A big question mark was appearing in my brain at the time, although i
am working in this area for more than 10 years.
Data charges on T-Mobile14 Sep 2006 15:09 GMT1
I've been looking at T-Mobile tariffs, and they look good, particularly
with the handset I'm after. What's the deal with data charges? I'm not
looking to use web'n'walk, partly because I don't use the interweb that
much on the move - I'm generally looking at about 1MB a month, tops.
02, Worth a 2nd try14 Sep 2006 12:48 GMT7
Is it worth me giving 02 a second try?
The last time I was with them the continually messed my number port up and I
could never use GPRS or Photo messaging, after several attempts at fobbing
me off they agreed to terminate my contract without penalty early.
O2: My Europe Rates here to stay14 Sep 2006 11:01 GMT1
Just got a text stating -
O2: Great news: My Europe rates are here to stay, so you can always call
home when in most of Europe for 35ppm.
So I assume that the promotion has been made permanent to extend past 30th
Cancelling an Orange contract ahead of time14 Sep 2006 10:54 GMT15
I've been with Orange for almost 10 years (and haven't had a new phone
in three years), but am now so sick of their utterly useless customer
service that I've deserted for T-Mobile.
I've just ordered a Vario II on a pocket-money contract for a few pence
Orange Business Services- sorry services is a bad description.14 Sep 2006 10:42 GMT7
I am hoping that Orange actually view these groups from time to time as
it seems they are trying thier very best to allienate thier custommers.
I run a small business and I have around 5 handsets and a couple of
data cards. It doesnt equate to much but its a fair chunk of money
