for her and her son), K610i I believe. There are a few things so far

Cheap PAYG calls and good data03 Sep 2006 19:29 GMT12
I'm considering switching from an Orange contract to PAYG on the basis
that it'll be cheaper for my call volumes. However, what I also want is
good GPRS access as well. The cheaper tariffs (Tesco, Virgin etc) make
mention of GPRS and WAP but don't actually say whether they provide
Virgin type plan with another network03 Sep 2006 18:52 GMT3
I'm looking for a non-T-mobile network that provides a calling plan
similar to Virgin's -- namely, not PAYG, but paid monthly in arrears
with no monthly plan charge.  (The reason I'm not going to use Virgin
is that T-mobiles network coverage is poor in my area).

MMS to email on Orange pay as you go03 Sep 2006 10:56 GMT4
I bought an unlocked Nokia 6020 phone for my wife, and transferred her
SIM card from her old Motorola M3788e into it. The new phone can do
picture messaging, but we don't have another phone that can receive
them. When we try to send a message to an email address nothing is
Motorola V3 signal strength03 Sep 2006 10:13 GMT8
I've just changed from a 6310i Nokia to a V3 and find with the same network
provider that the signal strength of the V3 is "down" vs the Nokia.
My question is - " are the 'signal boosters' that I see advertised a
worthwhile adventure or not?"
