Unlocking question - advice please09 Oct 2006 18:15 GMT6
I don't know much about unlocking, so please bear with me.  On my old
Siemens phone I had a Virgin PAYT sim card, but could never get a decent
signal in the house.  I got a new Motorola RAZR V3 last Christmas and
decided to go with Vodafone PAYT, hoping the signal would be better.

I have an unlocked HTC Hermes, with a T-Mobile sim.
I am able to access the Internet via 3g on Orange.
However, there is no way that I can access the internet via 3g on
T-Mobile - the phone just says 'connecting...' but never connects. If I

Trying to get phone to talk to laptop using bluetooth to synchronize.
Laptop running current Windoze XP and, unbelievably, the PCSuite
software does not support the "latest" Bluetooth driver which comes
with XP and is actually dated 2002.

open an email account (like Hotmail) at www.vodafone.net if you have a

I have a contract with Vodafone @ the mo. Is it possible to get another
phone on the same account?? (I.E. Same bill, no other credit check)??
I would ring Voda to ask them, but its imposible to get through @ the

I have purchased a second hand mobile phone on Ebay. It appears that it
is 'network blocked' to Orange. I have tried using an Orange PAYG but
it still states the same message.

I am surfing the net via my laptop bluetoth dongle to my mobile, using the
phone as a mobile. The signal for orange isnt too hot as I am on 3g and keep
getting disconected. now, I have just changed my phone settings to GSM and
