Anyone know how good OCR are at the moment?06 Oct 2006 14:55 GMT2
I know they go through cycles - are they currently in a customer
retention phase, or a 'get stuffed' phase? Want to upgrade my handset
soon...

International Roaming06 Oct 2006 14:48 GMT1
I'm shortly starting work in Holland and am looking for the cheapest
way of making calls to the UK on my mobile and not incur inbound call
charges. The work is likely to involve trips to other non-european
countries.
Vodafone PAYG in USA06 Oct 2006 10:39 GMT12
I went to the US recently and my PAYG mobile did not work properly:
Incoming and outgoing texts worked fine.
Incoming phone calls worked fine, I could answer them.
I could not make outgoing phone calls or ring the credit top up
Best wifi phones?06 Oct 2006 09:13 GMT4
I've currently got a o2 XDA Mini S which has had no end of problems,
and to be frank I'm getting quite sick of it. It's too big and clunky,
and the styluses (stylii?) drop out frequently.
However I'm quite used to having a wifi enabled phone.

o2 3G sim-card05 Oct 2006 21:52 GMT3
I've recently upgraded to a k800i; 3g, compared to my k750i 2g handset.
They sent a 3G sim-card, but I'm happily using my 2G sim-card in it at the
minute. Do 3g sim-cards offer any benefits, excluding the obvious higher
bandwidth? I was planning on getting it activated, and using ...

Why haven't 02 online increased/changed my price plan since 2001?!?!05 Oct 2006 17:08 GMT4

SMS reverse charging05 Oct 2006 15:24 GMT15
Seems the margins for the middle men are very high.
eg a text charged to the recipient at 25p potentially nets me from 9.4p
to 13p and a text costing the recipient £1.50 only brings me in 95p to
£1.05. So 50-70%.
Have Orange just cut their dealer cashback?05 Oct 2006 14:21 GMT1
...cause I've been away for three days and the best deal for an M3100
on Dolphin 35 has gone from 9 months half price line rental to 6
months, a cut of about £50 or so. That's even in the same retailers,
btw...
