| Sony Ericsson W810i prepay on O2 | 28 Oct 2006 21:12 GMT | 4 |
Hi I am trying to find somewhere that will do the Sony Ericsson W810i on Prepay on O2. I have searched on line for hours but cannot find anything. If I was to buy, for example, a Vodaphone and get it unblocked, would it work with an O2 simcard? Would this be a cheap way to go ...

Hi, I'm on hold to Orange at the moment. Don't worry, I have a cup of tea and a film to watch. My problem started about 2 weeks ago: As often as twice a day, but not everyday, mostly when I get up in the morning, the phone was showing "Sim

| O2 OffPeak 1000 X-network contracts - do they include 0845/0870? | 28 Oct 2006 16:56 GMT | 2 |
Has anything changed with O2 contracts recently? Do they still include 0845 and 0870 numbers? Might need to take out a new cashback contract. Girlfriend living in halls has a landline put in by the local uni, but the charge to dial out is costly and to dial in you need to phone ...

| Nokia 5140 how do I get rid of the patterns behind menus? | 28 Oct 2006 16:13 GMT | 1 |
I've just bought a used Nokia 5140 (the rubbery one!) and I've got rid of the wallpaper so that when it's in standby there's just black text on a white background, but when I go into the menus there's still an annoying pattern of curved lines on the screen in the background.

| Suspicion about three's generous deals | 28 Oct 2006 13:49 GMT | 4 |
What do you think their long-term plan is? Get loads of people signed up (maybe a target of 50% market share). Once they have that, they up their prices (or reduce the no of free mins & texts)

| Blacklisted phone | 28 Oct 2006 13:46 GMT | 11 |
I bought a fone off e-bay 6 months ago and it's been black-listed by O2. They say I'll need proof of purchase to get it unblack-listed. If I get the phone unblocked so it can work on any network, will this bypass the blacklist thing so I'll be able to use it?

Does anyone use their mobile to access a remote modem using a laptop? I use data loggers at various sites, each has a modem and I'd like to use my Nokia 6021 to access and download the data. I can connect to them with my laptop using my BT line but it would save me a bundle of ...

| What PAYG sim... | 27 Oct 2006 20:27 GMT | 9 |
Ordered my (free) O2 sim a bit over 4 weeks ago now, still no sign of it. Since I only need a PAYG sim to port my number out to from Orange, any suggestions of the cheapest and easiest way to do this? I'm reluctant to waste any more time with those numpties at O2, and
