Vodafone Mail18 Oct 2006 22:58 GMT1
This is a long shot. I use Vodafone Mail, the web interface to send SMS
etc. I imported a load of contacts incorrectly, and reached the limit
for the address book. However the contacts I imported don't have the
correct fields mapped, so the mobile phone number has not been ...

protectors for PDA phones?

had some bad experience with that and can't recommend it to anyone!

Vodafone unlocking - can't contact18 Oct 2006 13:25 GMT3
I want to check to see if my phone is old enough to qualify for a free
unlocking code from Vodafone.  It's been recommended here that the best way
to do this is to go to the Vodafone site and use their "contact us" link.
However, that link is currently out of action due to 'website ...
GPRS Charges18 Oct 2006 12:23 GMT1
My phone (SE T630) has options for GPRS header compression. When I've
experimented with the settings, the data counters in the phone show the

Am I actually compressing the IP header? Do the UK networks differ on

Orange roaming - yes, I know I shouldn't use it - charges 'per minute

How long has that one been going on?

Currently on Orange contract and have bene for 9 years, cant wait to get rid

o2 online GPRS billing18 Oct 2006 00:59 GMT3
I have just had £10 GPRS charges applied to my bill this month. I
really do not trust O2's GPRS billing and the accuracy of this sum.
I remember using GPRS a lot in August but not Sept-Oct as I had internet at
home instead.
LG Chocolate on Orange - Unlocked?17 Oct 2006 23:45 GMT1
I bought an LG Chocolate on an Orange contract from OSPS. However, I hate
the phone and want to sell it and use the contract SIM in my old phone. Put
an O2 SIM into the LG and it seemed to recognise the network, like it does
with the Orange SIM provided. Does this mean the phone is ...
