smart phone upgrade?30 Nov 2006 22:58 GMT5
I'm due an upgrade with O2. I currently have the XDA mini S which I'm not a
big fan of. Ideally I wanted the SE990i but it seems to have disappeared
into cyberspace so can anyone recommend a good new smart phone. I use the
PDA more than I do the actual phone so must have all the ...

Hiya

that, as is gives 100 free mins/texts a month).
For the past few months, I've had a feeling their GPRS charges have been
Port Orange PAYG to ? and back to Orange contract...?30 Nov 2006 22:33 GMT1
I've had the same number that is currently on Orange PAYG for ages...I'd
like to keep it.
I got a new contract from OneStopPhoneShop on Orange- basically for the new
phone. Couldn't move my PAYG number to the contract.
Orange Loyalty Discount30 Nov 2006 20:54 GMT3
I'm tempted to sign up for this with my ED50 contract, but Orange have
helpfully disabled the link to their "terms & conditions" page. If I
sign up for this without upgrading my phone, is there then any penalty
if I later wish to leave Orange before 12 months is up?
Unwanted and unrequested WAP push message30 Nov 2006 17:43 GMT3
I received a WAP push message today (August 4th) which came from
http://www.imob.tv and cost me over 2pounds.
I'm going to complain to O2, but in the meantime can anyone tell me how to
avoid getting these messages and get my credit back?
Can I use Pop3, Gmail, G'Maps on T-Mobile UK unlimited Web & Walk Tarrif £7.3030 Nov 2006 17:18 GMT3
I am winning in a battle with O2 to cancel my contract half way
through. I would like to go on T-Mobile's unlimited Web and Walk tariff
at £7.50 extra per month.
I am thinking of having the same phone again (SE K800i). Does anyone

Has anybody got any idea how to copy a list of contacts from a text
file to a Nokia 6233.  They were stored there by a piece of Phone
Management Software but I can't get the info to go back.

Bluetooth Modem Problems - help please!30 Nov 2006 10:16 GMT4
I'm trying to connect my laptop to the internet via bluetooth using a
Sony Ericsson M600i on Vodafone UK 3G. There is a 'conection wizard' as
part of the phone's bundled software, but while it lets me link up with
the phone using a USB cable with no problems, I can't seem to ...
Blackberry 7130g data synchronisation cable30 Nov 2006 09:24 GMT5
I bought the above some months ago. Recently I decided to try to backup
my data.  First problem:  the cable I have is a USB "A" to mini-USB "B"
cable, but the appropriate slot in the phone is larger than the mini
USB bit so where do I put it???? Do I need some kind of adapter?. I

At work many internets sites and personal email sites are blocked so I
leave my 3g card running all day on my personal laptop. At least that's
what I try to do... If I don't run a "ping -t google.com" in a command
prompt window vodafone disconnect me after an hour or two. Even with

N73 won't take incoming calls - somtimes.29 Nov 2006 19:19 GMT7
I'm having a strange problem with my new Nokia N73.
A lot of the time when someone tries to ring me they just get a message
saying "Sorry, we cannot connect your call, please try again later". I look
at my phone and it has a full signal.
Watchdog and Red phones?29 Nov 2006 14:06 GMT8
Missus mentioned that there was something on Watchdog about the Motorola
Red phones and customer dissatisfaction.
The Watchdog site is as useful as a chocolate tea pot, so did anyone
else catch this?
