As there are now phones with WiFi , such as Nokia N80, and there will be more, I wonder if it would be possible to download the Skype software and use such a mobile as a Skyphone instead of a WiFi enabled laptop at home or when travelling?

I was given a Vodaphone payg nokia 6100, go it unlocked & put in my Virgin payg SIM card. The phone works but whenever I switch it off then restart it the phone loses last number dialled. Can anyone help a women in need?? tia Dee.

Anyone unfortunate to have a contract with Carphonewarehouse that is due for renewal. DO NOT phone and enquire about the upgrade offer they will send to you prior to your contract ending. They will take this to mean that you want to except the "FREE" upgrade and extend the contract

So, how does one prove to Orange that you are over 18 and you can turn off Safeguard? Frustratingly, I stated that I wanted it turned off when I registered my PAYG SIM yesterday, but they appear not to have done that bit.

Has anyone managed to unlock a Nokia 6111 (PAYG on Vodafone UK)? I've checked http://unlock.nokiafree.org/ but the Nokia 6111 isn't a choice. Does this mean I can't use one of the free unlocking sites yet? Thanks in advance for any help.

I know this seems like a daft query, but my mother has a Nokia 3410 which rings an alarm at Midday every day, even if the phone and the alarm are switched off. By the way the alarm *is* set to 12am (i.e. midday) but is definitely switched off.

when i connect to O2 active the main page loads but none of the sub pages load i.e games menu,i am on PAYG using a Sony ericsson K750i. the message' the requested item can not be loaded, status code 500' appears. is it me or them? i tried clearing the cache but it didnt make any

Just phoned up 3 to get a PAC code and they offered me a great deal. I agreed to keep my current handset and they gave me the video talk and text 700 tariff (400 X network mins and 250 texts a month) free for the first 9 months then £35/month for the last 3 months of the contract ...

My current 02 contract is about to expire and want a new 02 contract - but using a cash back deal. I appreciate that wont be allowed and if I went that route I'd lose my number. I know its been possible to PAC numbers to PAYG and then port back
