I'm off to New Zealand in January and it seems the best way of keeping costs down is to get a NZ SIM card either from a company called http://www.0044.co.uk/newzealand.htm or just get a SIM card when I get to NZ.

I'm using O2 PAYG and was overjoyed to discover that the GPRS connection (referred to as O2 Active) is in fact limited to just the o2.co.uk portal. The APN I'm using is the standard O2 PAYG one (payandgo.o2.co.uk).

I am 99% sure I know the answer to this, but just want to be 100% sure. You can port a number into T-Mobile at some point after connection, say 4-6 weeks. Just that e2save have a good deal on T_mobile but my O2 contract is not up

I'm on a T-Mobile EQ plan (which, allegedly, shouldn't attract an itemised billing charge seeing as the plan is a price-match jobby). My 12th bill now shows this charge at 85p + vat. Never appeared before.
