I want to be able to load received text messages onto either my Windows or Mac computers. The Ericsson softwaree doesn;t seem to want to let me do this. I can Sync contacts OK and transfer files to and from the Memory stick but not upload text messages.

I've an old but hellishly reliable 6310i still working unlocked but wondered if there was a modern equivalent with phenomenal battery life and dependability without bells and whistles? Any group thoughts/recommendations?

Is there anyway to extend the ringing time on my 6100 before if goes to voice mail at all ? The **61* type GSM codes doesn't seem to work on Virgin as detailed on http://www.mobileshop.org/usertech/gsmcodes.htm

Q1. I have recently replaced my 6310i with a P990i and would like to find out whether it is possible to set an alternative loundness profile with the timer so that at the appointed time the profile reverts back to the original. Eg on the 6310 I set the profile from loud to silent

So, it's upgrade time again... Orange have gone from being brilliant when I got my phone last year to appalling now. So which network is going to give me some decent service and support? I don't mind paying a bit extra for reliability and piece of mind.

Having googled etc this just gets more confusing......... Many web sites offering to unlock mobiles some for £3.99, some for £30! Some say unlock code required, some say CD and cables, some say send the phone to us etc etc
