MP4 videos on K750I02 Jan 2007 21:04 GMT2
I tried to copy an MPEG4 video clip to my K750i, but the phone can't seem to
find it anywhere! I copied it to different folders on the memory stick but
to no avail.
Any ideas how to make the file playable on the phone?

£1 SIMS for Orange - are these a scam?02 Jan 2007 19:12 GMT16
A friend says he can buy SIM cards for Orange PAYG for £1.
Maybe that's the price these days but it seems too cheap.
Are these £1 SIMS part of some sort of scam or ripoff?
Orange PAYG online02 Jan 2007 18:15 GMT7
The Orange online service to monitor balances and make top-ups with a
registered credit card appears to have gone tits-up.  Can anyone confirm
that this is a general problem and not just one with my account?
What useful alternatives exist - does Orange offer an auto-topup system to

Web access in US on UK Vodaphone02 Jan 2007 15:50 GMT6
Firstly, is it possible to get web access in the US using a UK Vodaphone
handset? If so would the IP resolve to a UK IP or US IP?
I unsure how this technology works (URL's appreciated) but I would
assume the IP would be allocated State side.
Orange - Cheeky buggers!02 Jan 2007 11:35 GMT11
Not been here a while and have just entered into an Orange contract(Dolphin
25), so I apologise if this is nothing new to you guys.
What I didn't realise when I got my bill, was that Orange charge 1p for
delivery reports and actually charge 30p to send a message to 241 - their

New battery for Nokia 520001 Jan 2007 13:49 GMT6
I have an elderly 5200 - the well-known rubber "builder's phone" which
needs a new battery (a BLB-2 model).  There are plenty on Ebay as cheap
as chips, purporting to be genuine Nokia items, and I bought one a few
months ago - but guess what, it completely failed recently and the ...
PC interface software for Motorola SLVR L7?01 Jan 2007 12:25 GMT9
I've just bought one of these (second hand) and annoyingly it didn't come
with the interface software, so I can't download ring tones, etc.  Is there
anywhere I can get a free copy of the relevant software?
TIA
Does porting a number "kill" the old sim?01 Jan 2007 10:45 GMT4
I've got an old Orange "Out here now" sim (I think that's what it was
called) that include 5 free texts a day for life.
I'm thinking of changing contracts now but want to keep my number.  Is there
any way my old sim can be assigned a new number so that I can pass it on
pda/smart phone recommendations?01 Jan 2007 10:35 GMT4
I'm due an upgrade with O2. I currently have the XDA mini S which I'm not a
big fan of. It is terribly slow. It takes ages to get a word doc up, even a
txt one, or to start the camera program etc.Not overly keen on the slide out
keyboard either - prefer the SE flip one.
