Thinking of getting the k610i 0n 3. About the phone...
My ears are not as sharp as they once were, is the volume easy to
listen to, say in a crowded room. And similarly, is the ring tone nice
and loud.

passed. Strangley, I added my name and it is listed, so what the
deadline refers to I don't know. Some have deadlines a year hence.

If you EVER need to put a different SIM card (chip) in your mobile,
you need to first unlock the phone, so it can read ANY SIM (not a 3G
USIM) card you put it. I have found a website where you can unlock
your mobile instantly and cheaplly too, check this website

I'm switching from a Nokia 6630 to a SE K800i and have been used to
being able on the 6630 to add Contacts to Groups and for each Group to
have its own ring tone.

I think I'm getting a second-hand Vodafone supplied K700i. I assume
that this will be locked to Voda and have all the horrible Live!
custom stuff on it.
