I have a choice of phones and wanted some advice.  Dunno how my copy

My contract expires in a month and I'm thinking about changing it to
one of free line rental deals (like I found on www.allfreephones.co.uk).
Does anybody have any experience with such deals? Does it really work?
Or is it one of the marketing sh..t to attract new people?
