| Radio on new Nokia: usage costs? | 23 Apr 2007 09:17 GMT | 10 |
Just got myself a new Nokia 5500 Sport, which I note comes with a built-in radio. However, AFAICS it obtains its radio signal via the internet, which I would have thought makes it totally unviable since I have to pay for all data.

| 3G PAYG for data | 23 Apr 2007 03:34 GMT | 2 |
I'm looking for a PAYG sim in order to use with 3G data (in a laptop). I don't want a contact as it'll only be occasional use. Obviously the cheaper the data charges the better. I don't care about voice or SMS charges.

| Data add-ons | 22 Apr 2007 14:02 GMT | 6 |
I currently have a pay monthly, SIM only*, online business contract with O2 which currently charges £11 per month. I don't currently use my allowance of calls and texts, but I regularly exceed the data allowance of 0.5Mb per month. I use my phone quite a lot for email and

| slightly OT- question about mini-SD cards and Samsung E250 | 22 Apr 2007 11:31 GMT | 3 |
Just wondering if, after inserting an SD card in the phone, I could send files from my computer (via BT) directly to the SD card. Basically, I don't want to have to get a card reader, as I'd have no reason for it other than this- but the extra memory could be useful...

| Three vs. Orange | 22 Apr 2007 10:22 GMT | 5 |
Hi peeps, I live in far SW england and have had an Orange mobile for a very long time, and on the whole been very happy with them.....however, they dont seem to be keeping up with the likes of 3 and T-Mobile on the data side of things.

| Skype/tracing users | 22 Apr 2007 10:17 GMT | 6 |
Hypothetical question: If a Skype user (no Skypein, so no caller ID) is using Skypeout to make nuisance phone calls to, say, a BT landline, can that user be traced by e.g. the police? Not that I'm considering becoming a heavy breather or anything; just

| If you don't like O2 - there's plenty of other (mostly worse) providers | 21 Apr 2007 20:39 GMT | 8 |
Many people think O2 are much better than many of the other leaders, their customer support, tariffs, etc, are great, and for those wanting even better value move to Tesco's offering in conjunction with O2. Perhaps the O2 bashers are rep's from other companies.

| getting a large time display | 21 Apr 2007 16:18 GMT | 4 |
Have a nokia 2610. Normally the clock shows up as tiny numbers in the top right hand corner, which i cannot read without glasses. But once or twice the time has flashed up in large numbers, but quickly gone off again. I cannot figure out what i might have done to get it to show ...

| T-Mobile and 3 offering good data packages - any O2 response? | 21 Apr 2007 09:35 GMT | 4 |
I am on O2, approaching end of a basic online contract, quite happy with their service. But not happy with their data charges. Even a paltry 4MB bolt-on takes me to £24 per month. T-mobile with W+W gives me the same voice and text, plua up to 1GB of data,
