Data Cable Wanted20 Apr 2007 22:40 GMT3
I am trying to find someone who can supply me with a data cable to fit
a Motorola E1 (ROKR) at one end and a 9-pin RS232 plug at the other.
As this is for a special application, nothing other than a 9-pin RS232
plug will do.

I just bought a Nokia E61 to try out and (for now) use it alongside my

Is HSDPA backwards compatible with GPRS/3G?20 Apr 2007 08:00 GMT7
The IBM/Lenovo laptop ThinkPad X60s 1704 lists as having HSDPA. This
appears to be a superset of 3G.
Does this mean that it will also work on 3G and GPRS? If not, what is
the point of this feature, in Europe?

The end of cashback deals?20 Apr 2007 00:37 GMT6
Are we coming to the end of the really generous cashback deals?  I'm
thinking of the "12 months free on a 12 month contract" ones, in
particular.  CPW group seem to have virtually none at the moment,
mobileshop have hardly any, and aren't honouring the ones they sold last

Cashback contract with web access?19 Apr 2007 16:43 GMT8
