got a Nokia N73 here which doesn`t do anything to alert the user when a text message turns up. No noise, no vibration, not even onscreen text to tell you. You have to go to the inbox to be able to check. Anyone had this problem before, and know how to fix it?

Is there a (shortcut) number I can add to a speed-dial to check how many minutes/texts remaining on an O2 contract? If I remember correctly, on Orange, I could use 150,1 and a voice would tell how many minutes remaining.
