What is the cheapest way to call a 0870 phone number? I live in Germany. It seems like Skype charges around 15 cents for a 0870 number, while only costing 2 cents for a regular London phone number. Can I use a calling card?

I've just received an email, purportedly from Vodafone offering £20 free credit if I sign up to e-Top-Up. I don't have a Vodafone phone and the site where you fill in the form is NOT secure.

o2 are going to charge all users for non-geo numbers 0844/0845/0870/0800 etc from the 28th Sep 2007 and will no longer be included within free minutes, whether you have an old/new tariff on personal or business.

O2 have always been expensive for browsing wap via GPRS or 3G - But that didn't really matter too much since there wasn't a great deal to use. However they really are having a laugh now that they have launched

I need to write a pc app to send pictures to mobile phones. I will not know the service providers for the mobile phone and the only info available are the phone numbers. What technicalities are involved in doing this? Can I do it via sending an email to the mobile phone
