BlackBerry Service from Orange on O2...19 Aug 2007 17:10 GMT1
Does anybody know if it's possible to make a BlackBerry work (i.e. with
the Exchange integration, email etc.) with an O2 sim card, when the
phone and service is provided by Orange?
I have a company provided BlackBerry, which is on Orange; but I live in
Changed network - cost of i/c calls19 Aug 2007 11:52 GMT4
I have an O2 phone which includes some free evening/weekend minutes to same

A family member originally bought her first mobile phone from Orange - and

Cannot text from an old T39?19 Aug 2007 11:51 GMT9
I've bought an old Ericcson T39 for work (I work in building, and this
was recommended as a good robust phone).
Anyway, it works fine, but I cannot send texts from it - it receives
them fine, but I just cannot reply.

Daughter is trying to move her phone from an Orange account that I set up
for her when she was 17 - to an Orange account she has set up in her own
name (she is now 27) at her own address. She has also bought a new handset.
We are finding it impossible to transfer the number to her ...
Can I pay monthly without line rental ?18 Aug 2007 14:40 GMT17
Several years ago I bought a phone from Orange who were matching the
Virgin tariff at the time. This was a pay monthly deal with no line
rental which suited me perfectly. No topping up hassle yet no monthly
rental to pay. I still use the SIM in an unlocked new phone and still
PAYG topups - is there a delay? (urgent)18 Aug 2007 10:41 GMT4

and has a Slovakian PAYG mobile phone (+421907......). She put credit
on it in her town, accepted immediately. This has happenned twice.
Friday last week, she said she'd put credit on her phone as credit was

o2 simplicity18 Aug 2007 07:48 GMT1
My wife's o2 contract expired last year and she's not that keen on an
upgrade at present as she is happy with her phone.
If I put her on a simplicity deal (which is a lot cheaper) for a few months,
would this affect her future upgrade?
Flext 35 minutes reduction17 Aug 2007 23:37 GMT8
An oddity - just signed a Flext 35 12 month on 9 Aug with The Mobile
Outlet (see if the cashback works in due course) and when I signed up
the 35 included £120 of calls/text (600min/1200 texts).  When my phone
arrived yesterday a text said I have £120.  Now see that Flext 35 on

My daughter is staying in lodgings in London where the only way she can get
a signal is to hang out the window!
Apart from being dangerous she gets a bit wet when it's raining!
I know those stick on boosters are useless.

Best simple phone for a 70 year old?17 Aug 2007 15:12 GMT13
A relation is looking for her first mobile.  She's fairly tech savvy
but simplicity and ease of use are obviously paramount.  So, phone
needs to be a reasonable size, big keys, simple menus.  What can be
bought now that fits the bill?
Vodafone recycled number gloom -  but first direct helpful17 Aug 2007 14:50 GMT15
On holiday - staying in a place with no O2 reception so went out and
bought a Voda PAYG sim card for £10 from a phoneshop in a town I was
passing through, then put £5 credit on it to get started.
Sadly its a recycled number, and the former owner had set up First
