Auto update of time and date (Vodafone)31 Oct 2007 19:47 GMT29
Does anyone know how frequently the update is sent over the network on
Vodafone to update the time and date on the handset? If I'm correct,
Vodafone are the only UK network to offer this (certainly Orange, Three and
O2 don't) but not sure how frequently the phone's time is ...

Any other similar codes would be much appreciated.

Orange World for free?31 Oct 2007 00:10 GMT12
I bought a 4MBs for £4 Orange World bundle Tuesday 16th October last
week.
My credit showed the usual £16 worth of Orange World data available -
the £4 bundle always shows as £16 worth of data.
Contacting a data card30 Oct 2007 23:55 GMT4
If I have a laptop fitted with eg a Vodafone datacard, is there any
way to establish a link to my laptop from another location, let's say
a desktop PC on a standard ADSL connection? To be clear, I want the
_desktop_ PC to initiate the link, in other words to send IP packets
What to buy without going daft.30 Oct 2007 23:18 GMT2
I have a BT Motorola WiFi phone that does nothing else well.
I need an additional tool that will work as a GSP system for satnav
purposes, play MP3 and have an alarm clock etc. If it could take phone
calls and e-mails as well that would be a bonus. Any ideas anyone?

I've a 2G O2 sim, but am thinking of buying a sim free 3G phone - can I
ask O2 to provide me with a new SIM?

how much data do VOIP calls use?30 Oct 2007 21:20 GMT13
Would really like to be able to connect to our VOIP (Epygi) exchange box
using new handsets for colleagues.
Will be looking at about four handsets initially and am looking at various
price plans.  Current favourite seems to be getting E65's on Three.
Testing Network Coverage30 Oct 2007 19:49 GMT3
Recently I "purchased" 3's mobile broadband package on the strength that
the three postcode areas that I would use it were all indicated as 3G
according to 3's network coverage. Unsurprisingly, it didn't work in any
of them but it is most inconvenient to go through the nausea of ...
Purporting to offer free calls...30 Oct 2007 18:20 GMT2
I got a text with the sender identified as Free Calls (so obviously googling
the sender is of no use), with the message "Use your Orange cross network
inclusive minutes to call IRELAND for FREE, dial 07987909017 anytime. Try it
now."
