HI My son rec'd a new W200i for Xmas and was gutted to find that it was
locked to Vodafone and he can't use his Tesco sim card in it.
I've had a quick Google and there seem to be a few people claiming to

Had a quick look and it didn't look like this story had been posted

what is wrong with this phone?24 Dec 2007 12:19 GMT4
My sony ericsson S500i is possessed. It seems as if the number 8 key is
stuck down, or being repeatedly pressed for a few minutes at a time. As I
write it is cycling through my contacts list for 8 T U and V (the characters
on the number 8 key).  It has not been exposed to liquid, ...
Mobile Outlet Cashback24 Dec 2007 10:25 GMT14
Anyone out there with experience of Mobile Outlet Cashbacks?
Are they reliable or am I likely to get my fingers burned?
GPRS PPP compression23 Dec 2007 22:38 GMT1
When will carriers offer a GPRS deluxe account with COMPRESSION.
OK, I will pay for uncompressed bytes. All compression codes store
this number in the compressed file [to ensure enough space for
expansion].
T-Mobile reception?23 Dec 2007 22:23 GMT25
I'm thinking of changing my current contract with Orange to a deal on
T-mobile but Ive been told to avoid T-Mobile as the signal reception is less
reliable than other mobile companies.
Do they really vary so much?
Contention and fair use23 Dec 2007 22:02 GMT2
My landline ADSL is 8Mb and I pay £80/month. Mug, you say. I get 10:1
contention ie on average only 10 other users are competing for that
8Mbit throughput.
Why don't ISPs abolish "fair use" caps, number of bytes, and instead
Sharing a 3 broadband connection23 Dec 2007 21:49 GMT8
A neighbour of mine can't get ADSL or cable so uses a USB modem from 3 for
internet access. For their one desktop PC it works and he's happy, however
he would also like access the net from his laptop and a couple of gaming
consoles as well.

THE END AGREAT MAN
After spending the rest of the day of 'Arafah in prayer and
contemplation, the Muslims began to complete the pilgrimage by
returning to Mecca with the talbiyah prayer still on their lips. The
different ring-tones for different callers?22 Dec 2007 22:25 GMT9
Just a quickie - can anyone point me at a phone where you can
associate a different ring tone with a calling number. What I'd
like to do is have one RT for one person, a different one for
someone else and so on.
