Send flowers via SMS contact22 Feb 2008 09:38 GMT3
A long shot, I know.
I want to send flowers to someone (in the UK) who travels a lot, and
whose only reliable source of being contacted/pinned down is a mobile
number.  I want to be able to find a flower delivery service (e.g.
Terminating Orange contract21 Feb 2008 15:06 GMT3
I wish to cancel my Orange contract and go onto PAYG. I wanted to escape
paying for a 13th month but I'm half way through the 11th month and
expected I'd have to give 30 days notice and pay part of month 13.
I called Orange who asked me if I would like to go onto Orange PAYG. I

Nokia 6230i memory reformat20 Feb 2008 14:42 GMT2
My trusty Nokia 6230i had not been so trusty lately with applications
(opera mini in particular) getting buggy and crashing with
out-of-memory messages (there is lots free).
It's an Orange version with 3.30 firmware.
3G on O220 Feb 2008 11:49 GMT4
I had a Nokia 6111 when I first started on O2 (number was ported from
my old orange PAYG). A few weeks ago I upgraded to a 6550 slide. I
understand that if I want to use any video calling features or 3G data
I need a new SIM card.  Will I be able to get a new SIM and keep this
Recommendations for new phone20 Feb 2008 09:09 GMT11
I have an old Nokia phone which has served me well. The only problem
is that the phone book only stores a maximum of 100 contacts.
I am looking for a new phone which:
a.) Can store a larger number of contacts - say 500
Three WePay20 Feb 2008 01:04 GMT3
I've been thinking about getting a Three PAYG SIM.  It seems like WePay is
not available for new customers after October 2007, but it might be the
better tariff for me.  I was wondering if there's any way to get on that
tariff.  If I bought an old SIM pack from eBay, would that work ...
Roaming on Ships/Ferries using MCP (Maritime Communications)20 Feb 2008 01:00 GMT2
I've noticed that some cruise ships and ferries now have an MCP mobile
service switched on when their out at sea.
What UK networks allow roaming on it though?- only T-Mobile have it listed
on their countries and have even created a 'Zone 7' pricing bracket for it
Anyone got a Nokia 1101 they want to sell?20 Feb 2008 00:43 GMT7
I am trying to find a Nokia 1101 for my parents. They already have one
and have learnt how to drive it. I want to get them another identical
model to avoid the "learning curve" ;o))
Anyone got one with/without charger & manual?
3G-USB Broadband Dongles19 Feb 2008 21:08 GMT18
I notice an increasing range of these. Are there any short term (1 or 3 month
) contracts available, they all seem to be on 18/24 month contracts  ?
I'm thinking in terms of using one to 'bridge the gap' while moving house etc.

Nokia 6280 - any way of reprogramming a key to change volume?18 Feb 2008 20:59 GMT1
The volume up button on my 6280 doesn't work. I can turn it up via
bluetooth or the headset, but when I unplug, it goes back to how it was.
It's a physical defect, Nokia are telling me that their switches don't
break and I must have damaged it. while I argue the toss with them ...

Can any kind soul tell me if it is possible to unlock a mobile which is
locked with Tesco's please? I heard that Tesco uses the O2 network so does

Thinking of buying the Motorola Razr V3.

I've received a few unsolicited SMS texts recently - from the same company -
but I can't find an option on the K800i to read message details which
include the message centre number. The option is easily available on Nokia
phones but I can't find message centre details (to make a ...
