Phone to send to a SMS message to a group06 Feb 2008 08:32 GMT3
A club of which I am a member is wanting to do a weekly text message
to their members. It seems the best way to do this is to get a
contract with a reasonable number of bundled texts, with cashback from
someone like e2save.
Nokia E65 - battery life06 Feb 2008 07:45 GMT7
The BL-5F battery in my one month old Nokia E65 now discharges very quickly,
it lasts less than a day even with the phone left in standby (and out of
reach of signal.)
Is there anything that might cause this?
Phone sales in CPW04 Feb 2008 22:28 GMT7
I was in a Carphone Warehouse today on the quest for a new phone. (See my
post on 31/1) Everything I've read about the SE K800i says buy it but I just
can't warm to it. The buttons are much too close together and the lens cover
for the camera looks like an afterthought that I'll ...

I have a strange problem, when I try to access the service at peak
periods it won't work it connects fine but no internet access of any
kind web, streaming media etc. Is this just congestion on the network
I assume so because when I connect through Orange or Vodafone no
Number, no name04 Feb 2008 14:35 GMT2
Have just bought a PAYG Nokia 2310.
My question is when you add a contact number and name do you add the
+44 to all numbers dropping the 0 at the beginning. What is happening
is that when I receive a text or missed call only the number comes up
Self echo on Vodafone to T-Mobile calls04 Feb 2008 10:31 GMT1
Has anyone else had problems calling T-Mobile numbers from Vodafone and
experienced their own voice at full level echoing back at them when making
calls? It appears from the callers end (using Vodafone) that the call hasn't
successfully connected to the network but when the other ...

per month.

Nokia 6300 and tomtom52003 Feb 2008 19:14 GMT7
When I connect the tomtom to the 6300 on orange I can use the phone and send
text via the 520 omtom but new received  texts are not displayed on the tom
tom, only in the phone. When I connect to my other phone a SEK800i on O2 the
texts are correctly displayed on the tomtom. Is ...

Sandisk micro sd card in lg shine03 Feb 2008 09:13 GMT4
Manual says: gold connectors must be facing down, but it doesn't seem to
fit! Is the manual wrong, or do i need a different card, or something?
Phone Virus ?03 Feb 2008 03:29 GMT4
I received an unsolicited text message from a +254 number (Kenya) with a web
link to a site that began http://w03.v762.net/
Is this likely to be a phone virus or someother malware? - first time that I
have come across such a problem!
Recommendations for data use in Sweden02 Feb 2008 22:11 GMT15
I've booked a self-catering holiday in Sweden, but unfortunately there is
no Net access in the house. I currently have the T-Mobile USB modem which
I could use, but £7.50/MB is horrendous for any serious use (I like to
use the Web to search for things to do, etc, while away).
