Hopefully someone can answer this :) I wanted to transfer fro tesco PAYG to O2 Contract ... so I obtained a PAC Code and gave it to O2 at the time of connection. All was well for 3 days, then all of a sudden my new O2 contract

I will visit the UK several times within the next 12 months. I'm looking for a reasonably priced prepaid SIM card for my mobile, which will be used nearly only for incoming (EU) calls and outgoing SMS. No other extras required. I am not too familiar with the UK mobile rules

A few days ago a friend showed me an email he had received which quoted a code that can be keyed into virtually any mobile phone to get it to display the phone number of the SIM card in it. I can't remember the code exactly, but it did work on my phone (Nokia 1100).

Argos have a Sagem my220X with a virgin SIM. There's no branding on the box or on the phone. Is it likely to be locked - or is there any way I can find out? (Want to use it to take abroad and I haven't got any spare SIMS and as we go on Sunday, no time to get any)
