I have a Vodafone 3g 'data connect USB modem' and I have recently acquired a
Vaio TZ331WN which has an on-board 3G transceiver. Irritatingly, its seems
you can only get the Vaio to work with the bundled T-Mobile software and sim
card.

For all:
The modems are all now free on all 3MBB packages, except for 1GB/12
months (£49) and PAYG (£99).
Existing 3 customers:

I buy a Nokia N73 (*1) on the Flext 25 + web'n'walk deal and it'll cost
£27.50 per month.
Now I take the SIM out of it and fit to a jailbroken iPhone. Wife gets
all the benefits of the T-Mobile deal.

Suddenly, my phone has stopped using assigned ringtones for various
contacts, they are all using the default tone, I have reset and reset, and
still the same, any ideas?

I have been using the iPhone for just over a month now, and I have
discovered some tricks which have made life much easier. Just thought
i'd share with the group.
