It would occasionally be useful to be able to connect my laptop to the
internet when away from home. I would like to be able to do this - as
economically as possible - using one of my mobile phones as a modem, rather
than using WiFi and having to be in the proximity of a hotspot.

I have only a 512kb ADSL connection, and I find that my eldest son -
and his friends - often use enough of that bandwidth to impact my own

sends a text a message comes up on the screen showing her remaining balance,
this also happened on her old Nokia but what is different is on this phone

Can a USIM for, say, Orange 3G service be used in a Orange (or
otherwise unlocked) 2G phone to make calls?

Looking for some help deciding the cheapest way to send texts when
