Checking if lost Tesco PAYG phone is being used?05 Jun 2008 18:15 GMT26
My 12-year-old lost his mobile a couple of weeks ago - had a Tesco PAYG
SIM in it.
We don't know whether it has been nicked/lost and found by someone, or
whether he's just misplaced it, which has an influence on how we proceed
Hughes 7100 sat phone - AD command set?05 Jun 2008 16:24 GMT7
I am successfully using this phone as a dial-up modem with a laptop,
at 9.6k, dialling up a normal UK ISP (0845..).
However, the connection takes 45-60 secs to establish and most of this

Unlocking SE K800i05 Jun 2008 14:12 GMT1
I'm thinking of getting one of these but believe there may be an issue
getting them unlocked. Is this still the case? I'm looking at a payg
phone on Vodafone but need to be able to use a couple of SIM cards.

Lost Orange mobile number05 Jun 2008 02:02 GMT4
While I'm here worrying about how to contact Orange, I've got an 0800
number written down for use in emergencies when I lose my Orange phone
(which I've used in the past from a callbox). However, it doesn't work
anymore. As far as I can see I would now have to call them on 07973
Orange refusing warranty service - is this allowed?04 Jun 2008 20:51 GMT7

Does anyone have a fax number for Orange? All internet research has
drawn a blank, I get the impression that they don't want to be faxed.
T-Mobile/Three network coverage in Scotland?04 Jun 2008 13:35 GMT22
I'm planning to switch mobile network (currently on Orange on a
locked-down OVP tariff that no longer meets my needs), and it's looking
to me that T-Mobile or Three are the only networks offering
reasonably-priced and good value contracts for moderate use (I don't

Is it anything to do with signal strength?
TIA.

Could someone please give me some Cell IDs with LACs for the SE
Cornwall and Plymouth area. I am experimenting with a program called
Cell Track on my old Nokia 3650 and as I will shortly be taking a
holiday in the above area I would like to put the info in the cell

I've just had a 3 USB modem (with SIM) delivered. There are several
numbers in the SIM card. Are any of them the PUK or, if not, how does
Three give them out?
