Best monthly SIM only data plan?31 Jul 2009 22:08 GMT5

Vodafone has nothing to offer at a reasonable price; nor does Orange; the
Virgin Liberty SIM is okay but the cheapest seem to be O2 (? the best) and
phone or battery31 Jul 2009 17:05 GMT8
I've got a Nokia 6310i which seems to have started eating batteries.  I
stopped using the original battery a few weeks back because it was going
flat almost overnight, and I'm now using the "spare" (about 2 years
old). This was OK, but recently has started to deteriorate.  It ...

As in header is there anything better than the above which I've had for some
time now?
The present handsets, of which I have three of are quite difficult to read
ie: poor backlight (plus my deteriorating eyesight!).

OK I'm confused!28 Jul 2009 09:12 GMT1
The iPhone 3GS 16GB is £440 from O2, CPW and direct from Apple with a PAYG
SIM and 12 months internet. Admittedly only black at the moment. So why are
they selling, still locked to O2, for around £100 more or eBay, usually
without the SIM?

The last time I went on holiday to Europe I got myself a Voda PAYG SIM,
set up Stop The Clock and added Passport. Cheap lengthy daily calls to
elderly parents. Job done.
This time the deals have moved on a little though it would appear not in

Getting internet connection with Orange?27 Jul 2009 23:01 GMT13
I recently bought a new Pocket PC/Phone (an HTC Touch Pro 2) to
replace my old very basic Nokia 9210. I placed the old SIM card in the
new phone. I can make and receive phone calls and text messages on
this Orange PAYG. But I cannot get an internet connection.
