I am attempting to use Facebook 1.7.022 on my 8900 T-Mobile Blackberry but I
am getting an error of "Could not connect because a data service is not

Wondering if anyone can help.
When I receive a new text a red asterisk appears next to the
'messages' and 'SMS/MMS' icons as expected.  However, when I read the
message (using either one of the icons) the red asterisk remains on

I tried a giffgaff SIM in this but it refused to work - apart from
emergency nos. Giffgaff is currently offering free Internet browsing
